About Rachel

I started my life here in Florida, but have traveled quite a bit throughout my life. Around 8 years old, my parents got divorced. It was hard and for the next 15 years, I grew up with just my mom and big sister. It basically taught me that women can do just about anything. I wouldn’t have chosen my life to go any other way.

From little, I was taught that I need to go to school, attend college and eventually get my masters degree. Well, I did go to college and graduated with a Bachelors in Journalism.

But once it was time to continue my education, I was torn. I didn't know what I wanted at all. The thought of getting my masters was engraved into my mind, but despite the feeling, I decided to start working toward finding a career I loved.

Fast forward two years later, I realized that my passion was and always has been writing.  I have always dreamed of sharing my experiences, both the good and bad, with those just like me! I invite you on this journey with me.
